For the hushed.
Note to self: don’t remodel even the tiniest room with any expectation of being finished in time for your party.
Each year we host a NYE Party at our home. It is one of my favorite things to do. Music, dancing, alcohol, food, games, people I love, etc. Well, this year we started remodeling our bathroom during Christmas break. I had been planning this remodel for MONTHS. Literally, since about June. So, I was *so ready*. I knew exactly what we were doing, how it would go, every.single.step.
Except I didn’t.
As kids Christmas seems so simple and perfect. You do the same thing every year and none of the planning is on your shoulders. You just show up, eat, get gifts, hang out with family, and do lots of laughing (maybe crying.)

Read MoreAs an adult Holiday season is a bit different than it was as a kid. You are responsible for the gifts for everyone, and you’re Santa. You deal with getting it all wrapped, getting everyone to the right places for their holiday parties (parents, bless you), getting everywhere Christmas day and Christmas eve. It’s a lot to do and it can be very stressful and no one should look upon the Christmas season (um, the best season might I add) with worry and anxiety.
So, I have compiled a list of amazing things to do this season that will be sure to make your heart grow three sizes in one day!
