Christmas is Officially Here! SANTA!!!!

It is officially socially acceptable to celebrate Christmas in full force!

Amen Jesus!

I mean, if you're a crazy lover of Christmas like me, Christmas is basically in your heart all year long and you're literally waiting on the next season immediately after Christmas is over.

So, I basically have been bursting at the seams since, oh, July.

I mean, not literally. More like September and when that first cool day happened. That’s when I had my first freak out over Christmas coming! Like, Buddy the Elf level freak out over the fact that CHRISTMAS IS COMING!!!!

Everything is just better during the Christmas season. Amazing food, Santa is the best ever, the whole world feels magical, baby Jesus being born is incomprehensibly beautiful, all the pretty lights, Christmas music all filled with joy, the colors of Christmas, Christmas sweaters, the decorations for Christmas are so pretty to me, I love decorating, my house is even more grogeous than normal (except this year because of the kitchen reno...), giving gifts to people I love is just happy, and then getting gifts is obviously fabulous!

Oh, and I just love shopping. For black Friday I knocked out most of my gift list and got myself some awesome sweaters! Ugh, I cannot wait to wrap and give the gifts I bought for people!

(Who wants to watch Elf, but skip the weird and gross food eating Buddy does with me???)

And that is followed by an equally amazing freak out that Mardi Gras follows that! Those are my two fave holidays. Not even kidding.

If you watch my Insta chat or snapchat (which I’ve been way less active on lately) then you have likely seen the childlike freakouts I am capable of.

So anywho, we usually start the season, officially, by taking down the tree and decorating it while listening to Christmas music some time after Thanksgiving. It’s our favorite little tradition in our little family.

It’s very similar to how we did it growing up. When we were little my Mom always did it on Black Friday or the following Saturday because she was off work still and teaching drains that energy fast!

Trey & I usually put on our important ornaments together-ones we bought on vacations or that signify something important, like our wedding.

And that is about it for our traditions for Christmas because it is just the two of us, for now.

So, what is a favorite memory or tradition you have of/for Christmas?

And who else starts squealing about Christmas when the first cold day hits? Eh? Come on, this is a safe place to admit such things. I won’t yell at you, obviously! I’ll just know who I can squeal with next year haha!
