September Obsessions!
As an artist, extreme emotions are 100% how I live. So, this is, naturally, a list of total obsessions from September. Please, obsess with me!
September was an incredible month for me! I feel like I took huge steps towards being the woman and business woman I want to be and if the weather would have just chilled up a tad it would have been that much better. Because then I could have worn super cute and fab fall clothes that I love! Who's with me?!
Well, oh well, here is the list of absolute, total, complete, obsessions I had this month!
Snapchat got some super fun filters! I was kinda obsessed with them!

Instagram let us finally post pictures that are not square!!!! AH! I was happy about this as a photographer. I can post a picture from a photo session without running it through No Crop. Sad for No Crop. Happy for me!
Alanis Morissette, Justin Timberlake, John Legend, and Selena Gomez joined T. Swift on stage!!! Ok, this was technically in August. But, it was like, really really late August and, well, whatever. I was really happy about that. I, like way fan-girled out on this!!! I screamed while watching the video of her and Justin on insta (I was home alone so no one freaked out at my screams. Promise.). Because it’s exciting to know she really really really should be my best friend bc we love all the same people. And I totally wish I had been there. You just don’t know. #ICannotEven
Taylor Swift’s new music video for "Wildest Dreams" came out!!!! And then I fan-girled some more. Ok, this was also in August. But, again SUPER late August. And, whatever.
N.O.R.L.A. Fundraising Prohibition-Themed Party y’all. Ok, I am obsessed with the 20’s and I love supporting projects to boost and restore Shreveport. So, obvi I was there. Just like last year. My sister and husband came with and we had a blast at Ernes’t Orleans Restaurant. It was amazing. And a session with MGP was one of the raffle prizes and a super-fab girl named Jazmin won the session! Go girl!!!
I got some dream outdoor furniture at an estate sale. Because estate sales are where life is at! It needs a bit of work, but, I am obsessed!!!!
I blogged my amazing grandparents session and cried while writing it and then made my husband and family cry too. Sorry guys, it’s not my fault they are such amazing humans and made y’all cry :/ blame them!
My super-adorable and handsome husband won a hockey tournament where he played 6 2 period games to raise money for slain Officer Thomas LaValley. And I nearly cried about that. Because I am a dork!
I watched a really amazing documentary on 9/11. It was moving. Aka we cried. And we loved. Love is the healer of all brokenness.
I found the most amazing phone at the same estate sale. Like, an old fashioned and gorgeous phone. #IDie.
And then there’s these amazing journals I got that I spent way too much on but I do not care because they match my brand colors and I take a lot of notes as a business owner and creator of things. So, oh well. I am...obsessed!
National Coffee Day. That was September 29th. It was an amazing day! #CoffeeIsLife
