Week 3 | 52 Week Self Portrait Project | Documenting Pregnancy with Baby Floyd

This week I'm officially 20 weeks pregnant!

Halfway!

Holy crap y'all.

I kinda want this kid to just stay in until I'm ready for it to come out.

But that's not how this works.

Baby Dino's kicks are getting stronger.

Just last night I was laying on the couch (cause my back hurt) and all of a sudden I was like “Gotta pee. No I don't. Gotta pee. No I don't. Gotta pee. No I don't. Gotta pee. No I don't.”

I couldn't figure out what the hell was happening!

Then it clicked, the kid is kicking my bladder.

Kay. Thanks kid. 💜

My baby bump is starting to legit show and I'm LOVING it!!!

I really didn't think I'd love this part so much. But it's just so cute!

Obviously Trey is obsessed with it. Men are weird to me with their obsession with preggo ladies.

This week was *particularly* freaking AWESOME because it was our first significant snow as a married couple, first one in our first home, and baby Dino's first snow period!

I wanted to document that as well as I could!

You've likely already seen our pictures as a couple from our snow day, but if you haven’t, they’re on my insta! @magnoliagracephoto

I sat in the snow, froze my ass off, kinda literally, and took photos of the baby bump, in front of our home, in the snow! 💜

When I say froze my ass off, let me explain.

I dunno if you've ever sat in the snow, in clothes that aren't waterproof, but that shit is COLD!!!

Being wet and cold is awful. My butt and thighs were BRIGHT red and my skin was stinging with pain from being so cold.

I don't think that's good.

AND I had to do it twice!!!

Cause the app I use to see what the camera sees, to be able to focus on me, and change settings as needed, was freaking out my SD card.

So I had to stop and let me card/camera rest before I was done.

That means I got kinda warm, then had to put my wet jeans back on, and do it again!

Also, my butt and thighs felt cold for hours afterwards!

I also don't think that's good...

It was worth it though.

Just look at these photos! I couldn't even choose one for this week's portrait!

They're both lovely in their own way!
