The Missing Link | Shreveport-Bossier Business Feature

If you’re looking for some of the best, what I’d call comfort food, in town The Missing Link is your place. Seriously.

It makes my mouth water and I wish I could eat it everyday until the end of forever.

The Missing Link makes delectable gourmet hot dogs. They’re huge and they are fancy and full of FLAVOR!!!!

They have a classic, but they also have things like a Cajun Dog and a Chicago Dog. SO YUMMYYYYYY.

Right now, they are down to a skeleton menu that they have posted to their Facebook. So I would check there for what to order.

They are also only open M-F 11-2 last I checked, just for the pandemic/quarantine.

The Missing Link is located downtown on Texas St, across from the Caddo Courthouse. Perfect location, and they have a parking lot right next to them that can be accessed from the alley.

I’ve been eating The Missing Link since their inception, because the owners are friends. And I have never not wanted to have some. Even while pregnant and having weird dislikes (I didn’t like cajun food, which was insulting to my OWN heritage), I still wanted non stop TML in my life. Haha!!

Their french fries are probably the COOLEST thing on the menu. They are rosemary garlic fries and I’ve literally never in my life had fries better than theirs.

They are perfectly crispy, but soft.

The rosemary and garlic is such a noticeable, but not overpowering flavor. AND they are salted to perfection.

Everything they make, even simple stuff in their own kitchens, is just delicious. I wish I could cook, and create food, like they do.

So, if you want yummy local food, The Missing Link is DEFINITELY a great option!
