My name is Kimberly Aker, I live in Shreveport with my husband, toddler boy & girl, and our cat. My passion is helping Moms love themselves and celebrate their families through custom, fun, & elegant portraiture hanging on their walls!

I love being Cajun, being outside, working on healing myself, taking care of my house, all art, chocolate, makeup, clothes, live music, being a parent, being a business owner, and being a wife.

Throughout my life I have seen so many women hide who they are, fear they aren’t good enough, wish they looked a different way, feel uncomfortable when they should be having fun, say horribly unkind things to themselves. I myself have had my inner voice tell me I’m not worthy, not enough, I’m too much, that my body was ugly and no one could want me. And after having kids, it can get worse or better. and sometimes it’s both at once!
I am part of the crowd of voices screaming and showing you that all of that is a lie. Your worth is inherent. It will not be defined by anyone. And owning that worth is the first step to knowing how beautiful we are inside and OUT!

Growing up, having photos in our home that showed the reality of our personalities was a BLAST. We had pictures of my sister pouting, me being wild, with items we loved, etc. Our personalities were shining and the love was radiating off of our walls.
Having beautiful portraits that showed how we were in daily life was a treasure. The intimate love and silliness that makes a family is what I am obsessed with photographing and hanging on clients walls!
I show parents that their lives are beautiful, all mess included!
